I joined Socin recently and I realized that buying insurance is optional ( according to the about us section). So far I've have been going through the loan requests posted on the site and a couple of loans have no insurance. My question is, what are the chances of getting funding without insurance?

Any loan with no insurance is not likely to be funded. I posted a request with insurance 3 times the amount i was looking for but only got 2 proposals. I was expecting lenders to fall over themselves trying to fund me but it was just the two. From this little experiment, i can tell every other borrower that posting loans with no insurance cover is just a waste of your time socin.org/projects/loan-for-existing-business/loan-for-business-stock-purchase/
